Queen - The prophet's song (1975)

What an amazing song! Oh oh people of the earth Listen to the warning The Seer he said Beware the storm that gathers here Listen to the wise man I dreamed I saw on a moonlit stair Spreading his hands on the multitude there A man who cried for a love gone stale And ice cold hearts of charity bare I watched as fear took the old men's gaze Hopes of the young in troubled graves I see no day, I heard him say So grey is the face of every mortal Oh oh people of the earth Listen to the warning The prophet he said For soon the cold of night will fall Summoned by your own hand Oh oh children of the land Quicken to the new life Take my hand Ooh, fly and find the new green bough Return like the white dove He told of death as a bone white haze Taking the lost and the unloved babe Late too late all the wretches run These kings of beasts now counting their days From mother's love is the son estranged Married his own his precious gain The earth will shake in two will break And death all

10 Things to Try before You're 40 or whenever!

1. LEARN NOT TO CARE Okay, so this one sounds a little odd, but the theory is right, so this is one of the things to try before you're 40. Everyone needs to learn not to care what other people think of you, and instead to reflect on what you think of them. That’s not to say that you shouldn’t be a nice person, just that if you love that bright orange coat, who cares if no-one else does?! CHANGE YOUR HAIR COLOR How many hair colors have you rocked during your life? My photo album currently has snaps of me with blonde hair, ginger hair, red hair, brown hair, black hair, pink hair, green hair and blue streaks. Some  #look  crazy. Some were perfect for that night, and never seen again. But if your hair is always the same, try mixing it up. You might love the results! 3. HOST A PROPER DINNER PARTY Downton Abbey is pro

A positive mood allows your brain to think more creatively

People who watch funny videos on the internet at work aren't necessarily wasting time. They may be taking advantage of the latest psychological science -- putting themselves in a good mood so they can think more creatively. "Generally, positive mood has been found to enhance  creative problem  solving and flexible yet careful thinking," says Ruby Nadler, a graduate student at the University of Western Ontario. She and colleagues Rahel Rabi and John Paul Minda carried out a new study published in  Psychological Science , a journal of the Association for  Psychological Science . For this study, Nadler and her colleagues looked at a particular kind of learning that is improved by creative thinking. Students who took part in the study were put into different moods and then given a category learning task to do (they learned to classify sets of pictures with visually complex patterns). The researchers manipulated mood with help from music clips and video clips; first, they tr
