child dreams

"When I was a child
the stars were so close
that just by reaching a little
I could have picked them in my pocket.

Over the years
the stars have moved further
and further
away... "

have you grown shorter with age?
or are you refering to the big bang theory that the universe is expanding?
or is it the parallax introduced due to rising pollution levels?
or is it because the stars are growing old and small producing an effect that they are getting further?
WHY?
WHY?
WHY?

That's cute.. Also we forget thinking abt stars as we grow old isn't it?
Trés joli petit poéme!

That which is "near" is sometimes so "far" away...and that which is "far "is sometimes "so near".

Who moves really ??
The body or the Soul?

She grabs police officer by pant leg to lead him to her brood trapped under grate Nicholas Read Vancouver Sun Ray Peterson, Special to the Sun / Mother duck shows police officer where her ducklings fell through a grate into a sewer underneath the Granville Street Bridge. Don't mention "bird brains" to Ray Petersen, because after what happened this week, he won't hear a word of it. Petersen, a community police officer for Granville Downtown South, was walking in the 1500-block Granville Street (directly under the Granville Bridge) Wednesday morning when a duck came up and grabbed him by the pant leg. Then it started waddling around him and quacking. "I thought it was a bit goofy, so I shoved it away," Petersen said in an interview. But the duck, a female (he thinks it was a mallard), wasn't about to give up that easily. Making sure she still had Petersen's eye, she waddled up the road about 20 metres and lay on a storm sewer grate. Petersen watched an...

You know you’re living in 2007 when…

1. You accidentally enter your password on the microwave. 2. You haven’t played Solitaire with real cards in years. 3. You have a list of 15 phone numbers to reach your family of 3. 4. You e-mail the person who works at the desk next to you. 5. Your reason for not staying in touch with friends and family is that they don’t have e-mail addresses. 6. You pull up in your own driveway and use your cell phone to see if anyone is home to help you carry in the groceries. 7. Every commercial on television has a web site at the bottom of the screen. 8. Leaving the house without your cell phone, which you didn’t have the first 20 or 30 (or 60) years of your life, is now a cause for panic and you turn around to go and get it. 10. You get up in the morning and go on line before getting your coffee. 11. You start tilting your head sideways to smile. : ) 12 You’re reading this and nodding and laughing. 13. Even worse, you know exactly to whom you are going to forward this message. 14. Yo...
